We are passionate about what we do. Since its inception in 1985, Blue Grass Lawn Service and Landscaping, Inc. has focused on only one facet of lawn and landscape care – the application of products to turf and to trees and shrubs.
There is no company that is good at everything. That is why our focus has always been to be the best at one thing, and that is providing the highest in quality maintenance service to lawns, trees, and shrubs through proper feeding and problem prevention.
Message From The Owner
I have been in the lawn care business for over 35 years. Working part-time as a high school student for the family lawn care business, I learned the basic principles of lawn care and the “old school” ways of developing a customer base, whose purpose is to build a trust between company and customer. Branching out on my own at age 22, I attended courses at Penn State and the local community college.
My schooling aided my business by giving me some of the educational background needed in pest, fungi and disease identification, along with other important facets of lawn and landscape maintenance. Having been involved in the lawn care business so long has helped in gaining the insight and knowledge of how to provide the best possible service for clients. All of these things together have been the key to the company’s successful growth over the years.
